No referral is needed. You can book an appointment directly with one of our clinicians – whether you’re concerned about hearing loss, tinnitus, or simply want a baseline hearing check. We welcome new patients of all ages in the Greater Toronto Area.

8. What happens during a hearing assessment?

A full hearing assessment includes:

• A review of your hearing health history
• Ear canal examination using an otoscope
• Middle ear assessment using tympanometry to check pressure and rule out any pathology
• Sound booth tests to assess your hearing levels and candidacy for treatment
• Speech in noise test to determine how hard your brain is working
• Cognitive screening to rule out increased cognitive load due to hearing loss 

The appointment takes about 90 minutes, and you’ll receive a clear explanation of the results and recommendations.
